ProtoAir, an updated version of the ProtoNode, can connect to the SMC cloud, enabling remote access for technicians and support teams. Through the SMC cloud, the following capabilities are available for registered devices in the field:
- Remote monitoring and control of devices
- Data collection and display on the SMC cloud dashboard
- User-defined notifications (e.g., alarm, trouble, and warning) via SMS and/or email
- Generation of diagnostic captures for troubleshooting without needing to visit the site
