Boiler Solutions for Pulp & Paper Industry

Pulp & Paper Manufacturing

Boilers are integral in pulp, paper and wood processing, providing valuable steam and power for plant operations. Cleaver-Brooks boiler systems are designed to respond and adapt to variations in cyclical loads, ensuring your pulp or paper mill runs reliably, safely, efficiently, and sustainably.

Industrial watertube boilers are engineered to handle the high pressure and temperature demands of the pulp, paper and wood processing industry. Cleaver-Brooks manufactures the widest range of industrial watertube boilers (10,000 to 1,000,000 lb/hr), available in D-, A- and O-style configurations.

Both single- and dual-stage integral convective superheaters are available and can accommodate selective catalytic reduction (SCR) and CO catalyst.

How Do I Reduce Emissions in my Pulp or Paper Mill?

Pulp and paper plants generate a large amount of waste and harmful emissions, and controlling them can be a challenge. Heat recovery steam generators and waste heat boilers are used in many areas of the pulp and paper industry to recycle otherwise wasted heat from the manufacturing process. This heat is then turned into steam or hot water, reducing both carbon emissions and fuel costs.

With regard to emissions reduction, Cleaver-Brooks industrial watertube boilers can achieve <2 ppm NOx with an ultra-low NOx burner and SCR equipment. Options are available to increase boiler efficiency by 5% on average.
